Any advice for getting STRONG smoke smell out of bone beads?
Bought some carved imported bone beads only to find they smell strongly awful! I can't get them wet or spray them with anything; Currently I'm hanging them outside every day, but is there anything I can do to speed up the process? At this rate I may not be able to use them for months!

Put your beads in with crumpled newspaper into an airtight container, like a large ziplock bag or big tupperware container. The newspaper should suck the stink right out of them. You can also put coffee (unused) into a dish then lay the beads around, not in, the dish and put that inside a bigger airtight container. Within 3 or 4 days they odor should be gone.
