How can I make glass beads at home?

   This can be really tricky to do.

   Glass beads are made from a glass tube that is cut into the right lengths — some longer, some shorter. They are then heated in a tumbler at a temperature high enough to start to melt the beads only slightly to make the rounded smooth edges, but not enough to melt the glass completely.

   I don’t know how you can do that at home. You can try. But you may end up only making 1 or 2 beads… with a lot of failures. It’s fun to try anyway!
