How do I make these tiny beads from hand?

I want to craft little beads like this, like from clay or something, but i cant figure out how:

These "seed beads" are usually made from plastic or from glass. I can’t tell you how to make them from glass since I’m not a glassworker, but there are some ideas for making them from polymer clay (if you want to go to the trouble) on this page at my site:
