Does anyone know how to make beads out of sand? Do they need any special type of firing? I've seen them with several colors in one bead. How to you color them?

I’m not sure what you mean as glass beads are made from sand – it’s melted to make the glass. But if you really mean with sand, perhaps these links will help.
