I am going to start wearing rosary beads to school everyday. How many times should i pray the rosary a week?

There is no need to wear rosary beads to show how prayerful you are. In fact, that is defeating the purpose. Prayer should be in secret, as per the parable of Jesus in the Pharisee and the Widow. You can pray the rosary as many times a week as you feel you should or are called to. A Novena consists of praying the rosary for a special, specific intent for 7 days in a row. Concentrate on your inner self, not your outer, though, to get the most out of your prayers.

God created you so he will always love you no matter what you do. The main thing is – don’t stress out about it. You know, if you want to know about how to live a right life, read the Bible. Afterall, there’s nothing better than going to the Author of your faith (and yes, there is a Catholic Bible). All the answers you need are in there. Read Matthew, Mark, Luke and John – these parts are mainly about Jesus and how he lived his life. Then the next time you’re having trouble figuring out a problem, just ask yourself What would Jesus do? and do what you think He might have done if he were in your situation.

When I was in grade school (back in the 60s), we were taught that rosary beads were for praying, not for fashion.
Wearing the beads is a sign of disrespect- for the beads since they are usually blessed and for the Catholic faith.
My suggestion- carry them in your pants or jeans’ pocket. You can finger the beads and pray that way.

its nice to hear a young person that has a believe in Jesus and God.But as a Catholic I believe that you are not suppose to wear a rosary.Put it in your pocket and take them out to pray.I do the rosary every night,but there isn’t a limit on how many times a day a person does it.But good for you for being the kind of person that we need more of now days.
