Wearing the beads is a sign of disrespect- for the beads since they are usually blessed and for the Catholic faith. My suggestion- carry them in your pants or jeans' pocket. The main thing is - don't stress out about it. You know, if you want to know about how to live a right life, read the Bible. Afterall, there's nothing better than going to the Author of your faith (and yes, there is a Catholic Bible). All the answers you need are in there. Read Matthew, Mark, Luke and John - these parts are mainly about Jesus and how he lived his life. Then the next time you're having trouble figuring out a problem, just ask yourself What would Jesus do? and do what you think He might have done if he were in your situation. You can pray the rosary as many times a week as you feel you should or are called to. A Novena consists of praying the rosary for a special, specific intent for 7 days in a row. Concentrate on your inner self, not your outer, though, to get the most out of your prayers. There is no need to wear rosary beads to show how prayerful you are.
