I am knitting a hat ww would like to knit in a few beads but yarn is too heavy what can I do?
I tried wire but didn't work out too well. The beads all have small holes. Any suggestions?

I would knit the hat first and then hand sew them on after. That way, you can use thread and needle the right size for your beads and easily place them where you want them on the hat. Just take 2 or 3 stitches, bring the thread to the inside of the hat and make a couple of tiny stitches there to anchor it.
