Lipstick from ebay has little beads of what looks like condensation on it? Is it safe to use?
apriljaymes asked:
On the actual lipstick itself (not the outer plastic casing) there are little beads of what looks like condensation all over the outside. They just wipe off....I'm not for certain if it indeed is condensation, or maybe separation of an ingredient in the product. Could this signify that the product is old, or unsafe to use? Anyone have any advice?

i think its safe i think its just when the lipstick gets warm, it melts a little but then goes back. i had a lipstick like that once and it was fine i didn’t react to it or anything

I’ve never seen something like that on anything I’ve wore, my suggestion is don’t wear it, you never know, it may bring you an infection!

First of all, that sometimes happens with lipstick. But a word of advice here, never use lipstick that you buy online. Always, go to the store and buy it your self. You never know what could be wrong with it, if you buy it online! If I were you, I would stick to the safe side, and not use the lipstick at all. Here, this is a motto I use, When it doubt, throw it out!. Good luck! 3

Heyy! Yes my lipstick has done this before and i just wipe it off, but i never buy lipstick from ebay! If your looking for some cheap lipstick, just go to the drugstore, Walmart, Walgreen’s, etc. They have some decent colors and at least you know where it’s been! But to answer your question, i think it’s just because the lipstick sweats Hope this helps!

I’ve noticed that when I lipstick is stored somewhere for a while, it does that. I think it should be fine, however only use it it was manufacturer sealed. It might be dangerous it it’s used or something else was added to it.
The way things are in this world you can’t trust something that you’re going to be using on yourself and if you’re not buying directly from a store.
