I'm making beaded critters for a group of students at a local school.The wire keeps on twisting and I get so frustrated because the beads won't move.I pull but I'm left with cutting the wire which I don't like to do.
I'm looking for a website that sells good quality glass and gemstone beads for a cheaper price. We have a great bead shop where I live but it is quite expensive and they must buy them in cheap and put a mark up on them. If anyone knows of anywhere please let me know!

The metal beads are somehow magnetized and when you turn the box upside down the beads will then periodically drop and hit a bell that makes the sound of rain falling. I thought maybe it was called a rain box, but no it could not be that simple. It makes a lovely tinkling sound that is very relaxing.
I have this shirt that I looove but unfortunately I try to avoid wearing it so much because I really have no idea how to wash it. It's got sequins & beads all along the neckline. I really need to wash it! I've heard of putting it in a pillowcase (if you're going to wash it in the washer).. but I want your guys' advice? What detergent to use, hot/cold water, everything!

I'm trying to make a couple necklaces for my mom and sister and I bought these gemstones and i'd like to know what tools can I use, purchase to make a hole in them??

For a school project, we have to make an ancient Egyptian artifact. do you think a necklace with a cartouche on it is a good idea? i also need to know what coloured beads they used, and how big/small they were. btw, we have to make it as close as possible as the way the ancient Egyptians did it. tips would be helpful!
Indians used a lot of beadwork on their clothing,how did they get the holes in the beads?some beads were made of stone.
I have started embellishing t-shirts by sewing beads/sequins on them. What is the best way to do this so that they do not come loose after repeated washings? Can I sew them and glue them for extra strength? If so, does anyone have a particular glue that they can recommend? Or is there maybe some kind of wonder-under type product that I can iron on the back to hold the stitching in place?? Any help on this subject is greatly appreciated!!
