I have seen these paper beads before and it is you rip up paper and boil it and then dry out the paper and use glue to roll it ito balls. How long do you boil it for? How often should I stir it. How large should the rips of paper be? Why do you have to boil it anyway?
Okay that website is the one I saw and I dont understand. Do you boil the paper on the stove or do you just put boiling water over the paper and let it sit and stir so often? And f so how often and why do you have to boil it in the first place?

I bought a black dress that has a sheer jacket type top, and it has beads on it (glued). I think the dress would look even better without the beads, but don't want to attempt anything that will ruin the dress top. Is there a way to safely loosen or remove them? I'm sure it's a synthetic fiber, though not sure what type.
I pulled one off a while ago on accident and they do come off easily, but leave the glue residue (very lightly seen). It's not a strong glue.
